The staff of the campsite is very polite, The campsite itself is located in the forest, there is a lot of shade. The downside is the lack of showers. There is not even a tap with water except the sinks, so that you can rinse your feet before entering the tent, although it is often needed because there is dust everywhere.

The campground is beautiful, a real campsite in a wood. But in this site picnic table and food storage are so far from the RV park and it's downhill. Use blocks for RV. the presence of an area for washing dishes was indicated but then in the bathroom the sign was different and it was all dirty. But I like the forest.

Ok, we have an RV 20 ft. not perfectly leveled like almost all of the sites here. if placed crosswise it's a little better.

40 minute drive from the tunnel view and valley! A bit crowded of a camp ground, but if you’re looking for a last minute stay in, Yosemite, it’s totally worth it.

Nice site. It was a walk in 015. Not enough parking though. We parked on the side of someone’s campsite and thankfully brought a cart to pull all our gear down the hill. Bathrooms were far away so there was toilet paper behind trees where people relieved themselves. (Pack it in, pack it out!) please help keep the sites clean people!
Must see- take a drive through upper Yosemite, Tioga road, view points, lakes, meadows (pack lunch) - no open restaurants or shops currently (Aug 2023)

The Campground: itself it nice and nestled away in a shaded and woody area. The spots are rather close together which normally isn't an issue while camping in a national park because most people typically aren't at their camp the majority of the time. The first night I was there it was a very pleasant experience with no issues. However, the second night there were several groups of people up past quiet hours having a rather rowdy time. Don't get me wrong- I am all about a good time but it got to be 12am and it was just inconsiderate to the rest of the people that could hear them throughout the entire camp. There was no one there to enforce any sort of rule whether it be a ranger or camp host which took away from the overall experience.
The Campground Location: The campground is about a 40 minute drive from Yosemite Valley which has its pros (it was far less crowded and congested of an area) and it's cons (it was a drive to get to the major tourist attractions). I also liked that it was a convenient location if you were looking to explore East Yosemite as well.
Overall, I would recommend and hope that you get considerate neighbors or they implement some sort of camp host that most other camps have.
