What Guests Are Saying
North Pines Campground in Yosemite offers a beautiful setting with convenient access to the Merced River and well-maintained facilities. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the proximity to hiking trails and shuttle services. The only option was to pay online with the recreation.gov app. But it declined our two credit cards and the creditcards of the other hikers two. So the app didn’t work. Paying cash was online possible after long discusen with the ranger

Horrible smoke every evening from campfires burning despite temps that did not necessitate such fires. Campfires should be banned during summer months.

The bathrooms definitely could use updating and regular cleaning. I have been to many CA state campgrounds where the facilities were in far better condition. I'm not sure what's up with the NPS but the condition of the bathrooms, in general, are unacceptable (spoken as a taxpayer). Otherwise the campground location itself is, of course, amazing...being located in Yosemite Valley.

Campground and Hosts were great.
Who ever is in charge of the busses, that's another story.
No busses to Glacier Point, and they don't understand why there is no parking.
Couldn't hike from Glacier down to valley due to no transportation to Glacier Point.
No busses for New Moon Starry Nights at Glacier Point. Very disappointing.
No valley floor tourist trams at night to view El Capitain or evening stars.
I was told the Rangers don't want to work late... then find someone who does.
SO VERY DISAPPOINTING. THIS IS A PUBLIC NATIONAL PARK, STOP GOING AFTER PROFIT FOR CEO'S OF COMPANY RUNNING THE PROGRAMS!!!!!
