Super frustrated with the reservation system. Especially after listening to podcast
The US Built a Site to Ensure Fair Access to Public Lands. Then Everything Went Wrong
and NPR report . I was one of the poeple on when all sites filled in 1 miunute, then I got cancellations but had to move everyday and everytime we moved there were at least 7 to 10 empty sites. Once we moved from a the site, that sat empty for the next two days. Your system is corrupt and super unfair I

Site 500 was a perfect spot to camp for our memorial day weekend! Despite other reviews claiming the site wasn't fit for tent camping, our group of 6 was able to fit 3 tents between the parking slab and the area available around the fire pit and picnic table with plenty of room to spare. Only downside is that there wasn't shade from morning until around 2pm but otherwise we loved camping there.

We stayed here as a family for 5 nights and it is an amazing location. The bathrooms are kept clean and there are a lot of trails close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely camp here again. All of the rangers were extremely friendly and helpful. It is gorgeous to be near the river and see Yosemite falls from there.

Beautiful to be in the valley. Site 123, flat enough for campervan, directly across from the camp hosts. River was nearby for fishing. This site is near the entrance so an easy walk to the shuttle stops. Flush toilet restrooms are also very close. Showers were available at Curry village pool, towels available, check showerhead as some are better than others. Felt very blessed to be able to get one night here due to last minute cancellation.
