Had an amazing time camping in Yosemite. Site 301 is a small site directly next to the men’s restroom. Not ideal, but I didn’t spend a lot of time at my campsite. The parking pad was just about level. All sites in North Pines are pretty close together but you’re in Yosemite so it’s worth it. No bears in camp while we were there. Rangers do an amazing job of making sure campers are complying with food rules.

Great location, very nice views 360 degrees.Feels very safe and family oriented campground.Damp station and potable water close by. Unfortunately , not easy to reserve - that is the only downside .

Overall, we had a good experience. One complaint involved the shuttle bus driver, she was rude towards the passengers, raising her voice repeatedly at the riders. I took a propane powered fire pit and was told to put it out at 10 pm, after being told it was ok to use. Confusion over regulations need to be communicated between police, rangers and volunteers.

We reserved, and paid for a campsite at the backpacker campground. While we were at dinner, a family moved into our site, spread their stuff all over the picnic table, put their stuff into our bear box,and put up tents around us. No idea why, but it was both comedic, and disturbing.
Everything else about our stay was amazing

Really great campground, it’s cozy and beautiful to wake up to the towering cliffs of granite. Really close to the river too for a nice swim.

Amazing waterfront campsite, so incredibly lucky! We were able to fit two tents and two cars. Our neighbors were friendly and so was the park staff, lovely trip!
