What Guests Are Saying
Tuolumne Meadows Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite. Visitors appreciate the educational campfire talks, proximity to the river, and ranger-led programs. However, some campers noted the campground can be crowded, and bathroom facilities are limited, with a long walk to restrooms for some sites.

Tuolomne Meadows Campground is very quiet. It's embedded in the forest. I believe it has been renovated and renewed recently, so all the roads are smooth, and the bathrooms are very clean. I hope it stays that way. I will definitely stay here again.

The newly renovated campground is a winner - spacious for parking, tent setting, fire pit, picnic table are all good. Bathroom is clean. For us, the site is humongous which is probably not our preference; also the ground is very dusty (light yellowish dirt). But overall, very good experience!

We made very last minute reservations bc we had to cut short our backpacking trip but didn't want to leave Yosemite yet. Unfortunately, there were no sites available both nights we were staying. Our first night, our campsite was amazing (F7) - quiet, secluded, flat spot for our tents. Sadly, we got a really awful site (E10) for our second night - it was rocky and uneven, too small for two tents, not a single flat spot, the table was crooked, etc. we went to the campground volunteering on duty and despite it being late, after looking for a while, he was able to find a better site for us - he even drove up to our site to let us know he found something! I wish I knew his name, because he made our night so much better! Thank you, kind sir!

After camping in Tuolomne Meadows camp ground many times over the years, this was the best. The work that was completed after two years of construction has really helped with the overall experience. New roads, upgraded campsites, upgraded bathrooms, etc. were greatly appreciated!!!

Beautiful and calm campground. Even at the height of summer. Great improvements to the facilities. I hope the public can continue to enjoy it with care.

Tuloumne Meadows campground is back! The boundaries of this site are kind of confusing; it's pretty big, I think? The tent sites are a short walk down from the parking spot and pretty flat.

$23 million dollar renovation and nobody thought to put a light bulb in the bathroom?
When we arrived to our campsite, there was a pile of used charcoal and ash dumped right between the campfire and picnic table. The new picnic tables were already warped and the TP was some of the worst I've encountered. Also some dude started playing guitar and singing (wailing) around midnight. So that was nice...

Beautiful campsite and campground! I was very happy to see space between sites, it didn’t feel like we were packed in.

I appreciated the helpfulness of the rangers, the quality of the facilities, and the cleanliness of everything!
One recommendation is to adjust the software so that multiple nights in the same campsite can be merged into a single reservation, if they were accrued separately. For example, if I had three nights in a row in campsite G19, but all are under different reservations, then it would be wonderful to be able to merge them all under the same reservation.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
