The host , cleaning crew are super helpful and even we have a park ranger to visit us informing us to close the bear box all time.

Great site overall. Not too close to the bathrooms but not too far. The space offered to this site is quite large. There is heavy tree coverage, so if you have a camper van with an awning, then you won't be able to fully extend the awning if the van is backed in. You won't get a stable Starlink signal either. I was able to make calls on AT&T. Those are first world problems — it's a terrific site.

very nice campground in the middle of the pines, and at the core of the Valley. Direct access to nice trails such as mist trail.
Toilets were clean. Easy access to water and dump station.
Compared to campgrounds in other parks such as Joshua Tree NP, this campground is dense and you don't feel "at the heart of nature" with all the neighbours around, including some using generators, having music speakers... not a big issue and I enjoyed my stay there.
