What Guests Are Saying
Yosemite Creek Campground offers a peaceful and scenic experience, with well-maintained sites, beautiful creek views, and friendly camp hosts. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the opportunity to explore nearby trails. However, access can be challenging due to the rough dirt road, and some sites may have issues with privacy and amenities. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking solitude away from the crowds.

The only site that can be reserved just a few days ahead. With that, the remote location and bumpy access road are acceptable trade offs. SUV is preferable but I did see some sedans. The site itself is beautiful. Totally enjoyed my time there.

This is a great isolated campground. Very quiet, and not busy like the Valley.

Staying at this campground is no joke but looking back, I'm so happy we did. The drive down is very treacherous and laden with potholes. Couple this with how remote it increasingly becomes the further you get away from the main road and cell service, it's quite scary if you don't have an alternative way to communicate in case of an emergency. I would definitely bring this if I stay here again, but despite all the above, it was a beautiful and secluded campsite and probably one of my favorite nights spent in the park. Most campgrounds in the valley are packed full of people and you don't get as much connection with nature. I loved feeling truly alone out here and highly recommend the treacherous drive down to Yosemite Creek if you are up for the challenge!

Absolutely loved the campground. I wish I had more time than one night.
Know that the road to the campground is not maintained and it can be dangerous on a low air tire (my case). Be safe! Highly recommend!

Never could find the campground . We took a little road after seeing the small sign indicating the campground, but after a few minutes the road began to deteriorate so much , we started to fear for our van that is not equiped to go on such damaged road. We figured that it could not be the road for a National Park Campground and the sun was getting down and it got darker so we got out of there and slept elsewhere. Very deceiving. Hope we can get a refund.

As you may know Yosemite Creek campground is 5 mi of mostly treacherous driving off the main road. When we arrived approximately 5pm August 20th our reserved site was taken and the occupant refused to leave stating that he had reserved the sight. There was no way to prove who was correct - no one of authority on site, of course, no cell service to call for assistance and the pay phone didn't work. We had no options but to leave the campground because as of earlier in the day the reservation system showed ALL sites reserved. Rather than drive out and "search for cell service" to solve the issue we decided to pick a spot and hope that no one showed up sometime in the middle of the night to claim the site. It was a long sleepless night wondering if someone was going to show up. The worst part of the whole situation was that the campground was less than 1/3 full even though the reservation system Saturday morning had shown the campground completely full. There is no way the reservation system isn't flawed.
After leaving the campground Sunday morning I called the "office" and spoke to Cory (not sure of the spelling) she was very kind and apologetic. She is definitely an asset to your organization.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
