What Guests Are Saying
Yosemite Creek Campground offers a peaceful and scenic experience, with well-maintained sites, beautiful creek views, and friendly camp hosts. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the opportunity to explore nearby trails. However, access can be challenging due to the rough dirt road, and some sites may have issues with privacy and amenities. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking solitude away from the crowds.

Staying at Yosemite was fantastic. The campground was clean, peaceful and well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything felt organized. The scenery around the site was absolutely beautiful waking up to those views of the mountains and trees made the whole trip unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again.

The site we had reserved had several issues and we could not stay there during the 2 nights.
There was no picnic table, no bear box , no fire ring.
also, there were tree branches on both side of the drive wat that blocked our Camper Van access to the site.
There was no attendant and even when we left a comment in the book , nobody stopped by.
I had to reserve an alternative site and pay it in full.
This is a great campground but that site specific was not as expected and it was not marked on Recreation.gov in it's correct state.

If you want to get away from the crowds this is a great campground. Bring water for sure - nothing here. If you go early in the spring/summer camp along the river!

Sadly only one night. Beautiful with small creeks and lots of green both trees and grasses. Interesting domes right next to the site. Glad it’s a little bit of tough single lane road so it stays pretty chill. Will be back

Why are there so many no show sites? SERIOUSLY FORCE CANCEL NO SHOWS!!! Our site was also one of the worst ones and we had to put our tents in the parking space because there was no tent spot and park on the road.

The site is well-leveled, but the bathrooms are too close, and since they don't have running water, the smell sometimes reaches the site.
I recommend parking the car to block the view of the bathroom and installing the tent and table at the opposite end from the bathroom for more privacy and to avoid the smell.
The stream is beautiful and has excellent shade, as well as plenty of firewood. But the access is terrible. It's about a 25-minute drive very slowly due to the poor condition of the road. I imagine that road will be repaired in one or two seasons at most!

We stayed at campsite 15 for 2 nights. It Was next to the creek. The creek was pretty dry, but had a light flow. The toilet was impressively clean. No portable water. There was a trail to Yosemite Falls from campsite. But got off trail and had to turn around. The trail became less clear to us about a third of the way. We will definitely go back and try again.
The stayed at campsite 33 on our final day and it was a completely different experience. It’s not as secluded as campsite 15. It was less wood no clear place to park too close to other sites.
From this campsite we visited Tuolumne Meadows and the lakes in between. Then
Spent our last day in the valley

We went mid-week and were treated to a nearly empty campsite. An amazing campground off the beaten path. Loved site #70 as well - if the campground had been full, we would have had neighbors only on one side. We were also far enough from the bathroom not to have to hear the door slam all the time. We met a ranger every day and camp services came through every day to service the toilet and trash.

The area leading in was extensively burned right up to the campground. This spot is probably great when there is water in the creek, but in August it was just standing water, which meant lots of flies.
Booked the site for 2 nights, but ended up not staying.
