What Guests Are Saying
Yosemite Creek Campground offers a peaceful and scenic experience, with well-maintained sites, beautiful creek views, and friendly camp hosts. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the opportunity to explore nearby trails. However, access can be challenging due to the rough dirt road, and some sites may have issues with privacy and amenities. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking solitude away from the crowds.

Takes a slow drive over several miles of dirt road to get to, but once at the campground you can't hear any traffic from Old Tioga Road. Campsites seemed a little close to one another since I could overhear the adjacent campsites w/o trying. Plenty of swimming holes along the creek, which is perfect since it started getting hot @ noon thru 6p mid-July, spotting rainbow & brown trout swimming around us as we stirred up the creek bed. Spotted yellow bellied marmots in the rocks, spotted bats chasing bugs at twilight and even a glimpse of a peregrine falcon. Pit toilet wasn't great but it got the job done. Rangers came through once over 5 days, who were friendly but were checking campsites for any food items left unattended; they take bear safety very seriously (and rightfully so!!) so be sure to lock up everything in the lockers before venturing off or hitting the sack. Overall, very peaceful campsite with lots of swimming holes along the creek to explore but somewhat desolate as the nearest convenient store is at White Wolf Campground and the campground itself being a little difficult to reach.

We enjoyed sites 26 and 27. It offered some level areas to set up tents and was close to the pit toilets. It also offered shade. The only drawback was the trail leading to the other sites put headlights pointing into our site.

The road to the campsite was a little hard to find; but I think it was the fact I hadn’t been there in a long time and wasn’t sure what signs I was looking for. After that, the camp site was great, the amenities were great and the experience was great

Its a great place to stay if you are okay with a 40+ minute drive to Yosemite Valley. You can access a hike to the upper falls which is nice. The bathrooms are okay but there is no access to potable water. You have to drive a long way down a mountain on unpaved road to get to the campsite.

Everything was perfect as usual and the Camp Host was very nice and friendly!
Even the guys in the red trucks doing the trash and picking up the restrooms were very friendly and kind!
Wonderful adventure as usual!

We had originally booked a campsite in Groveland, CA but as the dates approached the temperatures climbed into the upper 90’s. We knew we had to find another spot and got really lucky to find two open spaces less than two weeks before our trip at Yosemite Creek. Best decision ever! Perfect for our family and 4 dogs. Beautiful views, the creek was still running so we had plenty of access to water and the bathrooms were kept clean. We would for sure stay here again.

Very great and easy access to the Yosemite creek trail. Only thing is the road to get to Yosemite creek campgrounds is pretty rough but it also makes it less crowded.
