What Guests Are Saying
Yosemite Creek Campground offers a peaceful and scenic experience, with well-maintained sites, beautiful creek views, and friendly camp hosts. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the opportunity to explore nearby trails. However, access can be challenging due to the rough dirt road, and some sites may have issues with privacy and amenities. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking solitude away from the crowds.

Fantastic campsite if you want to visit Yosemite but still feel removed from the hustle and bustle of the valley. It's positioned in an ideal location where you can do day trips to the must-see's like El Capitan and Half Dome but also a short drive from Toulumne Meadows and Tenaya Lake. Unfortunate that it said the entire campsite was booked up over the Labor Day weekend, when in fact I would say only about 30% of it was occupied.
Will definitely be returning. The stars were incredible.

Love the place. It's quite and most people camping there are minimalist. Watch out for the hornets/bees though as they come when food is out! A bit of a hassle but no biggie. The 5 mi rough road as advertised was only 3 mi and the first two miles were paved. The road wasn't so bad if you have a 4x4. But it gets sketchy at night as it's a very narrow road with a deep cliff exposure on the side. It's our first time camping in Yosemite. We had two nights but missed out on first night. We will be back soon! We were there site #8 ( cousins) and we got site #9 on Labor day weekend. It was said that the temps can go down to mid 30s. Nope! It felt a lot colder than that at night. We doubled up on jackets and thick blankets and you can still feel the cold. Make sure to bring a lot of layers and blankets. No signal but we had Starlink which works there flawlessly. We also brought Bluetti power station for power so it was a pleasant experience.

The campsite was so cute! A bit of a drive on unpaved roads to get to the sites but not terrible. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a great experience and one of the best primitive camp ground, we saw a black bear approaching the site. Google Map cannot take you to the site location, watch out for Yosemite creek campground directions sign in the Tioga road, take the 5 mi dirt road, looks like they are working on the pavement, soon this road will be accessible easily, I went in a sedan Nissan Versa, it was not difficult for me to drive to the campsite.toilets were great and clean.. I have pinned the GPS location where you need to take exit from the tioga road to the campsite—> https://maps.app.goo.gl/cT3JuNufNS7sNEKG8?g_st=ic

The campsite itself was beautiful, clean, and safe. The weather was great. The drive in was bumpy, especially for a smaller hatchback.
