What Guests Are Saying

White Wolf Campground is praised for its beautiful location, spacious sites, and proximity to great hiking trails, including those leading to Cloud's Rest and Aspen Valley. While there were complaints about the lack of running water and restrooms, the portable toilets were well-maintained and clean. Many campers appreciated the quiet atmosphere and friendly fellow visitors, making it a favorite choice for future stays.

Nice campgoound. Clean and not too dense. No water when I went but they had pottable water stations and toilets. Would go again. Night was really cold Spt 13th (under 25) and froze my Sayer water filter (oops)..

Nice and quiet. Wasn't bothered by any bears. Beautiful area. Very cold at night, even the first part of September.

You have to understand that there's no running water here and you have to bring your own. Also, there are only porta-potties, not traditional bathrooms. That being said, it's a lovely campground in a nice setting. We were able to make a last minute reservation and when we arrived late at night to set up our cam in the dark, we didn't disturb anyway since the campground was mostly empty. We were happy with our experience and I'd use it again.

Their was no one onsite to help me with check in so I was not sure if I was going to be kicked out or not. Other than that, no complaints.

Beautiful campground, tidy and well-maintained. Portapotties were clean and 'up to date.' The campground is next to several key trailheads, so it's really nice to start hiking without having to drive. We found the outer campsites at the perimeter to have the most space and shade, with the inner campsites closer to restrooms but not as private or shaded. We will be back!
