This is a great camoground. This is the 2nd time we come here. The only problem was the restroom did not have lights. Last year it had. Not sure why.

I understand there may have been layoffs and the campsite may not have anyone on duty now, but it did last year. Last year we had our immediate neighbors with 5 cars and ~9 to 11 people, playing the game “mafia” well past 1am, and everything was funny to them..out loud. This year, a multi-family of maybe 15 with at least 6 kids under 8 years of age, chopping at Joshua trees with rock. Not sure it is was the same family but after midnight, bumping music loud enough for me to hear it 50 yards away. This is not Havasu and it’s not Lake Perris. If your team does not control and enforce the rules, you will soon be another terrible campground. Trust me, if you allow them once, the word gets out and they will come. Like I said last year, love the place but please do better. I do my part as do so many others. Control those who think they own the grounds.

Everything was good but just be aware of those wind gusts. The day we arrived was warm and windy, but after sunset, there were strong winds and it got cold.
A 10 min drive to the nearest Walmart Supercenter and about a 20 min drive to the west entrance of Joshua Tree. There’s clean restrooms with flushing toilets and running water.
