I didn't realize how close to LA and that area this was. Lots of hiking, very dark, and very quiet. The generator rules are well defined and enforced by the hosts. Lots to see from the campground and lots of wildlife. Yucca Valley (town) is close enough for dinner and shopping and small enough that the light does not affect the stargazing.

Great campground and overall experience. Traveled by myself but felt totally safe. Good large camp space. Nice bathroom. Easy to find the site. Highly recommend!

End campsite without any neighbors. At the end of a road so campsite can be very large if you expand out into the road.
There is a hiking trail that runs along the edge of the campsite so regularly had people walking by. More than enough room for our car and 16 foot (expanded) popup trailer. Site has a decent angle requiring leveling.

We spent only one night at the campground and enjoyed our stay. The sites are good with decent spacing and relatively level. You will have RV and van neighbors so you should expect some generator noise but all were respectful and shutdown in the evening. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly helpful. We would stay here again.

Be aware ground is very hard and it is realistically not possible to pound stakes in for a tent. Please make other arrangements or be prepared to use rocks to weigh your tent down.
