We spent only one night at the campground and enjoyed our stay. The sites are good with decent spacing and relatively level. You will have RV and van neighbors so you should expect some generator noise but all were respectful and shutdown in the evening. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly helpful. We would stay here again.

Be aware ground is very hard and it is realistically not possible to pound stakes in for a tent. Please make other arrangements or be prepared to use rocks to weigh your tent down.

I had a hard time finding my way to site. Didn't see any signs to direct me to campsite

Black Rock is in a lovely area of slopes and vegetation.
Site 66 was plenty large enough for one minivan and one truck, and it was easy to level. Black Rock Campground is close to town, and although it's in the park, you don't pass an entry station on the way in. We realized we needed a campfire, and it was a quick trip to Walmart for (expensive!) firewood.
I've stayed in this campground before, and I will definitely be back.
