Beautiful area and clean bathrooms, but I wish they had bear boxes. Otherwise it’s outstanding.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Campground. So nice to enjoy cooler temperatures than we would have had on the front range that week. The host, Lou Ann, is the best...!

Beautiful views and fantastic hosts. My site was next to the hosts with a wonderful view of the lake. Sites are nicely spaced and vault toilets kept well stocked and clean. I’ve never seen hosts so helpful before.

Lakeview campground has been my favorite campground for several years now. The view of Taylor Resovoir and the collegiate peaks is spectular. Fishing at mirror lake near tincup was fantastic and the trip to the reopened Alpine Tunnel was memorable. Our campground host Luanne was friendly and professional in her duties. Only complaint is that the trees have grown over the years that they now block the view from the campsites it would be nice to thin the trees so that LakeView Campground retains the View of the Lake.

The Lakeview Campground is wonderful, and the hosts are all terrific. We love the views.
What we don't like is the proliferation of dispersed camping and the hundreds of large RVs all throughout the valley. Hundreds of ATVs and Motorcycles clog the trails, with speeds, noise and dust
Dispersed camping areas should be a lot more limitied. '
As a result, even though I have been camping here for over 30 years, I can't abide the crowding and noise, so we won't visit unless during shoulder season.

I liked my site because it was backed up against the woods.
However, it was difficult to find because none of the loops are marked. The roads are bad--lots of deep potholes that would be easy to patch.
There's no indication that the very narrow roads are two-way at that there is a turn-around loop at the end.
I couldn't level my RV at my site, so I slept slanted.
Worst of all, the only neighbor anywhere around me, across the street, had a full-volume, full-size generator running right in my face all evening, then first thing in the morning. I left immediately in the morning.

Great campground with great hosts!!!

Please patch the roads in the campground. They have been like this for 5 years and the holes are getting deeper.

Overall campground is in really good location. And the views are amazing. There's a coffee shop right across the street. And a restaurant half mile away. Which is convenient. Do not book campsite 26, it doesn't have tent pad or even surface to pitch tent. Not very comfortable for RVs as well as they have to park on the road and get down 10ft to access table and fire pit

Campsite was perfect. Amazing view of the reservoir. Camp hosts were very attentive and easily accessible. Campground was clean and quiet.
