Lakeview campground is my favorite place to go camping located at taylor park reservoir it is one of the most spectacular views in colorado with a magnificent view of not only the lake but the Collegiate Peaks. the campground has large campsites is well maintained and the vault toilet restrooms are kept clean by the campground hosts. Access to trout fishing, four wheeling, rafting, is excellent. It is just an awesome place to spend a relaxing vacation

Really nice campground. I LOVE the fact that you can ride ATV's straight from the campsite to the trail that has access to all the other riding areas in Taylor Park. No need to trailer them to another trailhead. Also great facilities, multiple camp hosts and great views!

From Gunnison, travel north on Highway 135 for approximately 10 miles to Almont. Turn right on County Road 742 and continue 25 miles to the campground entrance, which is on the right.
