What Guests Are Saying
Thunder Ridge Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, particularly Jan, who provides excellent service. Campers appreciated the well-maintained restrooms and the peaceful atmosphere, with many enjoying nearby hiking trails and the stunning reservoir views. However, some noted challenges with site sizes for tents, difficult access roads, and occasional strong winds, yet most expressed a desire to return.

The campsite was awesome as was the host. The sites were spread far apart and we had easy access to the reservoir. The road into the park is horrible though. 3 miles of washboards that shook screws out of my camper. Woodland Park needs to spend 5 minutes and blade the road, then oil prep it like the rest of the roads that normally are heavily traveled.

Very good site looking out over lake. Enjoyed the view the quiet and the chipmunks. To get there was slow in a 24 foot RV as the last 3 miles the gravel grate road was a bit rough. Worth it though.

I enjoyed the site and location. The view was great. I went into the men's side of the restroom near site 10 and there was a sign posted that stated the restrooms were cleaned and sanitized 3 times a day. This was around 4:00 PM. Around 6 PM I went back to that restroom and noticed feces on the floor. The next day that same feces was dried and still on the floor. By 11:00 AM, when I left, it was still like that. That was upsetting because I believe the restroom had not been cleaned in at least 16 hours.

I just love the site #11 and it's perfect view and peaceful, I will come back and thank you ALL for my weekend. The potties were very clean and smelling good. But I don't want more people finding this out, this is our secret, :)
