The campground is a nice size with good restrooms and plenty of water spigots but it’s quite steep around the campground so the sites don’t have a lot of flat areas for tents.

The host was very personable, The site was very clean and accommodating! We had two large tents, two trucks, and four people. #10 fit us very well but I think the other spots might have been a little tight. I would absolutely recommend. The lake was very clean and perfect for paddle boarding!

The campground was excellent. The road to get there was horrible! It has a stretch of 4 mi where the gravel road was so rutty that I almost turned around! The host said that the road is mostly leveled off around major holidays.
The boat ramp is gated and is open from 7am-5pm which means that you cannot go kayaking in the evening.

They turned off the water to the entire camp site the day before we arrived, and the entire surrounding area for all campers. We had to drink the lake water. We were tent camping for 3 days. No email to tell us, nothing!

Great campsite. Beautiful, nice hike to Rampart reservoir. Clean vault toilet facilities and very well-kept sites. Host was friendly and attentive. Love this site.

Great campground. Very private, separated spots. Easy hike down to the reservoir. The host was very nice, friendly, informative, and laid back. There was some reported bear activity in the next site over during the night but we saw none. Close enough to the tourist attractions to be back by dinner. Loved it.

My son, grandson and I stayed at Meadows #9 at Rampart Reservoir Campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and we actually had a view of the lake. I was fortunate to see a bear passing by which was exciting! My boys love fishing at the reservoir which is why we camped there. We plan on making camping at Rampart an annual summer trip.

Clean restrooms, friendly host, easy to get to - campsites are a little closer than I'm used to but still not bad at all. Definitely will camp here again! The gravel road coming in was pretty washboardy, but to be expected.

Highway access
Meadow Ridge is accessible via Highway 24, which is approximately 24 miles from Colorado Springs. The campground is then reached via local roads after turning onto Rampart Range Road.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site types & loops
- The use of drones is prohibited at this facility.
Fees & deposits
- Each site includes two vehicles or one RV/trailer and tow vehicle; a fee of $11.00 per night applies for a third vehicle.

- Firewood can be purchased from the Host for $10.00 per bundle.
