Very good hosts. The camp sites were extremely close (at site 8 my tent was 20 feet from another). Nice little hike to the reservoir

One of our favorite camp spots. Unfortunately we won't be returning because the 4 miles of dirt road damaged our camper. The road is so wash boarded that it literally jiggled a cabinet door off. Again too bad but we won't be returning.

The site is a bit exposed to sun and in the middle of the campground. Overall, the grounds are clean and well maintained. Lots of great trails and fishing nearby.

The campground was very clean and orderly. The weather was too windy to safely go out on Rampart for 3/4 days of our trip in mid June. The camp host did their job, but they were not friendly. It was a quiet place with gorgeous views of Pikes Peak.

Our spot at site 13 had a great spot for our tent in a field of wildflowers. It was lovely.

Beautiful campsite, but the greatest part of the trip was the host! They were so kind, had the cleanest restrooms, and made sure the entire campground followed safe food storage to avoid any issues with wildlife. We had so much fun! I’d highly recommend this campground!

Well maintained with well spaced sites for privacy, shade and views. Convenient 2 mile drive to reservoir boat ramp and .5 mile trail to reservoir from the campground.

Very nice area and campground. Good views, good fishing, cooler weather and not far away from where we live. Lots of rock outcroppings, trees, wildlife including deer and wild turkeys.
