Campground hosts did an excellent job. Bathrooms were spotless and odor free. Hosts checked reservations, gave information, and kept a safe and quiet campground without invading your privacy. The size of the campground is nice. Rather than one or two large campgrounds, the USFS did a great job of providing several small campgrounds in this area which makes for a much higher quality experience.

Nice, clean campground. Next to the West Fork of the Dolores River, or right on the river. Has a mix of sites, most in the shade, some out in the sun. Good access and good water supply.

Camp ground could use some maintenance work - there are too many dead trees etc. Sites with electricity need to also have water.

We have camped at this campground several times in the past and we always enjoy the stay. Sometimes we enjoy fishing in the river if the water isn't flowing too fast. Our dog enjoys it also and she really likes the walks around the campground.
