North of town, a bit of a drive. Not fancy, but clean, convenient, and full hookups. Trees and grass with gravel drives and pads. Level and easy setup. Stayed here multiple times!

Perfect launch location for activities in Durango and Silverton. The park is located directly across the street from the hot spring and spa, and a very nice grocery, and hardware store are across the highway. The park layout is a bit untraditional as some sites require motor coaches to pull in forward which places your door facing your neighbor if they are in a trailer. Fortunately we had a very nice gentleman next to us. Laundry was great, and there is also a television, DVD assortment, and small library present.

Highway noise is present during the day, but quickly quiets down after dark. The sites would benefit from more frequent manicuring of the grass and small branches.

Overall, staff was great and it was a good experience.

Stayed 4 nights. The place was overgrown with weeds. Never ever saw any staff. We were sent our site info by email. Our rig faced two other rigs, and they opened up onto us as well. No privacy, so we didnt sit out. We had no picnic table. Everyone else did. The wifi went in and out constantly. Good thing we were on the go. I would not recommend. The only positive was it was directly across the street from Durango Hot Springs.

Our summer here in Durango has been amazing. We’ve stayed at Westerly for weeks on and off again and keep coming back because its location is so damn convenient. We have the Hot Springs within 50 feet. There’s an ACE hardware and a grocery store right across the road. And an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Durango or 15 minutes to Purgatory. Fun people, nice staff, lots of regulars. Do yourself a favor and book your next RV/travel trailer trip here.

Stayed @ Westerly mid July. It’s a very small park that’s a single circle. The road is a thick pebble gravel (slightly challenging to walk on it’s so thick) and all sights are gravel. There is some VERY sparse grass between sites but mostly dirt. The middle, end sites have grass and that was irrigated with sprinklers and that was the only real area to toilet dogs. The “dog park” really should be torn down as it is a chain linked fenced area covered in dirt and weeds, not much bigger than a grave. There is a tent area for one tent that should be converted into the dog area.
Our site was awkward as we were a back-in site but the site on our campsite was a front drive-in site. That made it awkward as we we’re essentially sharing an outdoor area with our neighbors. There is the train that dives by and is quite loud but didn’t bother us. There is a grocery store just down the street and MANY restaurants just a short distance into town. The best park was the hot springs directly across the street. Our Verizon signal was often nonexistent.
