Loved our spot. Fantastic location and just close enough to Durango to make everything convenient. Spotless bathrooms and well kept camping grounds.

We hosted a fantastic party, the location is one of the most beautiful in the area and easy to get to, the site is immaculate, including the bathrooms. Parking worked great, including the handicap sites which made access for several guests very safe. The price point made it affordable. The majority of our guests who are locals had never been to the party site and enjoyed riding further up the mountain to take in the spectacular views of the City. Thanks to the availability of the site, we created a very memorable 84th birthday celebration. Kathrene

We had a group of about 42 people stay for 4 nights at the (only) overnight group site. PROS: We loved how the site was secluded from the rest of the campground so we weren't bothering others. Host cleaned the bathroom minimum daily, sometimes twice. Large hexagon concrete pad with firepit in the middle and 6 moveable picnic tables. Loved the permanent cooking grills and serving table. Lots of parking space. Fairly near the creek, easily walkable. There were a few areas in the creek that were chest/waist deep. Two parking strips for RV campers. CONS: Signage was not clear and many cars came into our site thinking it was a thru road (it's a dead end). Wish there was a ramada shelter over the dining area. (There's one at the day use, so why not here?) No hanging food/trash hooks - all other sites had them. No developed tent pads (we had about 15 tents). Only a few tent clearings and the rest you had to be creative down the hill or on the side of the road. All tent areas are on some sort of slope. Access for the creek is only for the sure footed with some steep areas - the grandparents couldn't make it.

We loved Junction Creek Campground. It had a lot of space between campsites, had a beautiful forest surrounding it and the toilets were spotless. Great camp hosts were friendly and efficient. We also liked that the campground was close to Durango so we could also enjoy the town. It was also close to trails. We will be back next year❤️

Very clean bathrooms. Potable water. Nice selection of tent spots within each site. Extremely close to Durango. Camp hosts helpful and not intrusive. They do a great job of keeping the camp clean and running well. Excellent experience.

Excellent campground. Hiked the Logchute Trail and the Colorado Trail right out of the campground on two successive days.
