Beautifully clean and very well kept. Lovely creek, though a bit of a hike down there.

Very clean campground.
Campsite hosts were present and came to warn of the presence of a bear in the area.

The camp hosts, Lana and Tracy, are super nice and informative. Junction Creek has the cleanest pit toilets I have ever used. The sites are not level for car, RV parking/camping so be sure to bring leveling blocks. The tent pad sites appear to be level. There is no cell service in the campground. There are no showers. There is water spigots at most of the pit toilets. There are showers available in town on Hwy 550. Only 5 miles from Hwy 550, Junction Creek is conveniently located to Durango. I would definitely stay there again

Beautiful campground and polite hosts. Bathrooms were always clean and never had an unpleasant odor, unusual for a pit toilet. Only complaint is the generator hours of 6 am - 10 pm. Some campers took full advantage which did not make for a completely peaceful stay.

This is a small, very nice campground near Silverton, CO. It has great access to a lot that the area has to offer. Don't miss the end of FR 585 with beaver dams, lots of dear, some elk and moose. 4 wheel up to Clear Lake. Hike to the Ice Lakes. Behind the campground only about a 1/4 mile away is a beautiful waterfall. Close to Silverton and about 45 minutes from Ouray!
And...the camp hosts are great! This is one of the best maintained campgrounds we have ever been to.
