Campground was quiet and pretty. Restrooms were immaculate. Easy access to town and trails. Tent camping was little challenging since most sites, including C4 where we stayed, did not appear to have tent sites that were quite level.

Quiet location near town. Campsites spacious and lots of shade, though being across from other sites means not the most private.

Although we slept in the vehicle and a tent, we used this electric/RV site as the standard non-electric sites were taken. It turned out to be great, as it was level, with a large smooth area for the tent. This site was well spaced out from other sites, and peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and the park rangers helpful and friendly.

Great location with a well spaced out site, clean bathrooms, and quiet area. We slept in a vehicle and tent. This site was a non-electric, but not level for a vehicle and had little flat space for a tent. The campground itself is great. The day before in the same campground we were at n the electric, RV section and had a level site with great smooth surface for our tent.

Spacious campground amid tall Ponderosa trees. Lovely setting. Our "double fee" site should have been a "1/2 fee" site. VERY LITTLE shade surrounded by almost all the other sites with LOTS of shade. In the summer heat, we were doomed. ONLY viable for RVs or camper trailers (i.e. built-in shade). LOTS of parking but almost no actual campsite space. Walking around, I saw MANY, MANY other sites that were way more intimate and beautiful. Choose your site carefully.

The campground was gorgeous! Stayed in E Group for the electric hookup availability. Space 3 was roomy, level and huge area between spaces. The toilets were kept spotless, fully stocked and always smelled fresh. I loved this campground for all previously stated and for the close proximity to Durango. Cell service for AT&T was non-existent.
