Most campsites are pretty spacious and some are configured to be more secluded. The original CCC restroom building is a highlight. Fun to be at the top of the cliffs, and views and sunsets are spectacular!

Nice campground, although suitability of sites varies greatly. Well maintained restrooms. No campground store/supply, but you are very close to Grand Junction.

Very nice campground - potable running water, clean bathrooms, and convenient to hikes and the visitor center. Shade is scarce.

We enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the campground and the beautiful views. We are hikers and pleased to find the Black Ridge Trail beginning at the visitor center. The trail goes to the top of the ridge and provides long-distance views of colorful valley and Grand Mesa.
