Stayed here a few times now. Great sites, views and close walk to Colorado Monument.

Campground host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The site I reserved ahead of time wasn’t what I was looking for. He recommended an unoccupied site that was a huge upgrade.

I did not have nice view plus lot space were too close from another. I am glad that it did not rain because it will be a disaster. However, the bathroom were in my front, very convenient

The campground is great and very convenient for spending a few days hiking around in the national monument. The host is really nice, helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were kept exceptionally clean. Site B39 has a terrific view out across the valley and over the town of Fruita. It also has some large juniper trees on both sides that help provide some shade when the sun is hot. I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 due to there not being much level area to pitch a tent and also due to there being 4 underground vaults with manhole covers (sewer? water?) at the edge of the B39 campsite.

The camp host, Terry, was amazing. He was friendly and very visible. There high winds and winter weather coming in and he knew I was worried. He texted his contact information in case we needed anything. He even helped us pick the best first come first serve spot since we arrived a day early to beat the storm. The bathrooms were super clean and the campground was well maintained. Pulling our 28' bummer pull trailer through the tunnels was stressful but easy. The visitor center is next to the campground and is fun for the kids. We will be back!

Consistently one of our favorite campgrounds. Far enough out of the way, but still close to services if you need anything (and who doesn't want to spend a minute in Fruita?). The camp host is friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. Every campsite we've booked has been perfect.

Beautiful views over the valley and the canyon. The campground is well maintained and bathrooms have running water.
Grills are available at each site but no wood fires are allowed. Just bring charcoal.
