The camp host is amazing - he worked with us to swap sites so we would be more comfortable in our tent.

Nice campground in a beautiful park. Only thing it needs is one more bathroom facility for the amount of people.

Great experience at Saddlehorn. Campground is clean and well maintained. Host is on top of things and very friendly. We love this spot. No need to advertise, it’s plenty popular

Outstanding location, wonderful trails & viewpoints. 2 sites uphill from me was a group that was blaring out loud dance music until about 9pm, when mercifully they turned it off. This detracted significantly from the outdoor, isolated, wilderness experience that I and many other fellow campers were hoping for.

Saddleback campground is beautiful, historical and classy, the location and views cannot be beat. However there are some drawbacks. The dreaded RV generators really distract from the quietude of nature (can be on constantly from 8am-8pm) as well as the almost constant car door slams and neighbor conversations (the sites are pretty close together.) The recently redid the bathroom and the toilet flushes are VERY loud and can be heard in nearby campsites (they woke me up at night - another reason to wear ear plugs.) And who wants to hear that sound all day long anyway? Plus in a desert environment where water is scarce they seemed to use a lot. Some quiet, clean composting toilets would be much more appropriate. I truly hope the park service reduces all kinds of noise pollution so nature lovers can truly appreciate the place. Quiet is an endangered resource everywhere and industrial tourism completely distracts from an authentic experience in nature.
