The Colorado National Monument is amazing and this is a great campsite with good views right next to the Visitors' Center. The restrooms were kept clean. A potential issue for some campers might be that many of the campsites are very unlevel.

It was impossible to level our trailer at our site! We were fortunate there was another site open for one night and left a day early. I think this campground is appropriate for tents or very small trailers.

Our campsite was clean and had a great view. It was hot and in the middle of the week, so it wasn't crowded. We got to watch a thunderstorm off to the west and the pinyon jays and nighthawks kept us entertained that evening. We will definitely return!

Nice campsite overlooking Grand Junction. Not much space for your vehicle as you can't drive into the sites. But we had enough space with a 19 feet long van. Good host. Didn't see any rangers and didn't do much else in the park. They rarely fill up so a good spot to stop at short notice. Not far off I-70. NOte that there is a dump and fill at the Colorado Welcome Centre just as you exit the interstate in Fruita. Very handy. Behind the Shell, next to the Vietnam Huey helicopter Memorial. There is a Dinosaur museum here as well which would be great to visit.

The actual campground and park was wonderful! There was a group of very drunk campers that were up until 2 in the morning making all sorts of noise.
