Although the views at Saddlehorn are wonderful, the actual campsites are not very user friendly. The first site would have had our door opening right on to the road. The second one was on quite a slope. I think they tried to cram too many sites into a small, awkward space.
The camp host was very friendly and helpful, however.

Beautiful campsite! The camp host came around to make sure everything was good and had a nice conversation about the National Park. The view and scenery was amazing.

Great campsite. Parked close to neighbors but can pitch a tent further into the brush. Beautiful view over the monument if you are in the right campsite or willing to go on a little walk. I would stay here again!

The monument is beautiful but the sites are small and very close together.

Great pull-through site. Close to the bathrooms. We will be visiting again and look forward to actually spending time exploring Colorado National Monument.

We stayed in Site: "08, A" which had a nice view, was quiet and rustic. The camp host was very friendly and posted the weather reports at each restroom daily. Be prepared to do a little bit of leveling of your rig in most sites in this campground. Can be windy. Rest rooms in the campground were clean.
