Glenwood Canyon Resort (Glenwood Springs RV Resort)

I stayed here in a cabin and absolutely loved my stay! Staff is great, they were all very helpful. It’s close to everything. I was able to get a discount for the hot springs which was really nice. I will definitely be coming back to check out the new restaurant and try out some rafting. Very cool place can’t wait to return.

We camped for 4 nights in May 2026. We reserved our camp site in October 2025. We prepaid the entire cost for our stay including the site fee & all environmental fees & taxes. When we arrived, the office was closed with no posted instructions about checking in. So, we found our site & settled in. On the third day of our stay the office manager called us & said we had a balance on our account. I asked why we had a balance & told her that I had my copy of our reservation showing no balance. She told me that taxes & environmental fees increased every year. I told that we had already paid the fees when we booked in 2025. She insisted that we pay the entire fee for 2026. When I protested and suggested that if she reimbursed the fees we paid in 2025, I would pay the new fees even though that is a ridiculous expectation. She told me that I got a real good deal when I booked the site & she refused to reimburse me for the fees I paid in 2025. She insisted that I pay the new fee. Be cautious when you stay at this resort. They will make you pay twice! I will be reporting their practices to the Colorado business bureau.

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how special Glenwood Canyon Resort is to us. My wife and I were married here this past fall, and it was nothing short of magical. From the setting to the people, it is hands down one of the most incredible places we could have chosen.

Kevin, Doug, Kaya and Twyla were absolutely amazing throughout the entire long weekend. They were helpful, fun, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure not only our wedding day, but the entire experience, was perfect. Their care and attention extended not just to us, but to all of our guests, which made everything feel seamless and stress free.

We had over 100 of our closest friends and family staying onsite for the whole weekend, and GCR could not have been a better fit. The variety of accommodations is unmatched with camping, RVs, glamping tents, cabins, and suites, all beautifully set right along the Colorado River. It allowed everyone to stay together, relax, explore, and truly celebrate as one big group.

This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It is rare to find a venue that feels both breathtaking and deeply personal, but GCR delivers on every level. We already cannot wait to come back and celebrate our anniversary here year after year. If you are considering this venue for a wedding, event, or getaway, do not hesitate. It is truly something special.

Over New Year’s Eve, we stayed at Glenwood Canyon Resort for a week, and this was our first trip to Colorado. We had a wonderful stay—the suite was amazing, super comfortable, and spacious, with a great view of the river. The place is quiet and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. The location is great too; downtown Glenwood Springs is only about 5–10 minutes away. Kevin was awesome and made everything easy for us. We’d definitely stay here again!

I recently had the most wonderful surprise weekend getaway, thanks to my husband, at this stunning mountain resort. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Kevin(the GM) provided us with an incredible cabin right by the river and was there for us for every detail. The cabin was extraordinary spacious and beautifully designed, making it the perfect retreat. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Colorado River, we enjoyed a fantastic mix of activities-relaxing, fishing, and exploring the picturesque trails. This resort truly is a gem for anyone who loves fresh air, the great outdoors and fantastic service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable mountain escape!
