Great little stopping point on the way to places further west (or east depending on where you鈥檙e going). Clean bathrooms and showers are a big plus! Staff is very friendly

Honey, don't stop here! Any review with 1 star most likely doesn't deserve any stars at all. A waste of time, poor customer service and spaces are not as advertised. We booked tent site D8 for our truck camper on our way home. The listing states the site will fit a 20' vehicle and suitable for a truck camper. If the owners trimmed the trees a bit we could have made it work. The site is also far from level. D7 was worse, you can barely get a small vehicle in there without scratching the paint. We could have moved campsites but there was no one to communicate with. I called, sent text messages and visited the office but no one bothered to return my attempts. When you call the number the message says to press 0 for reservation questions . When you press 0 the recording states that it is not a valid extension. We were there for an hour before we decided we couldn't make it work. We wasted 2 hours of our day driving out of the way for this awful experience. We had a lot of plans while visiting Glenwood Springs. After 2 hours we should have been cleaned up, relaxed, dining, shopping and/or on the bike trail. Unfortunately, we were back on the road in search for somewhere else to park for the night. We requested a refund but the owners refuse to respond and communicate. Don't bother.

Great lil RV/camping spot. Beautiful grounds, super friendly management, and it has a quaint feel to the place. If your not an early riser, the morning traffic could wake you pretty early, didn't affect me. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideout at Glenwood Springs! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. I especially appreciated the hot showers after a long day of exploring, incredibly relaxing!
One special highlight was spotting a small bear nearby, which made the mountain experience feel even more memorable and unique! The other campers also really looked out for each other, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel safe and comfortable during our stay.
The laundry facilities were very convenient, and having a microwave and reliable WiFi made the stay easy and comfortable. Everything was handled smoothly online, which made check-in and the overall process simple and stress-free.
The location was peaceful while still being close to everything in Glenwood Springs. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying here for 5 nights. The property is split up between permanent residence areas and then the lower D lot where there are about 6 spots for shorter stays. Site D-6 is the best. Lots of shade and a pull thru layout for trailers. The property has a creek running right thru the middle and you can hear the trickle from Sites D3-D6. The grounds are very quiet after 10pm.
There is a gas station and convenience store within walking distance as well as a local Sushi restaurant that was very delicious.
The Clubhouse is nice. Washers and Dryers, and a cozy seating area with a TV. There are also a few hanging maps that were very helpful in maneuvering the many, many bike paths and hiking trails. The Hideout is located right across the street from the bike path that leads to the river, downtown, restaurants, and so much more. This is the perfect location for biking. The Clubhouse also has a coffee station and a few games. Good luck to anyone that can beat my score of 75 on the Pop-a-Shot basketball game!馃ぃ
Check in is done mostly online and thru email. The office was open most afternoons but count on your email confirmation for check in instructions, WiFi passwords, door codes, etc.
Have fun. This is a great Hidrout in a really cool little Colorado town.
