Wonderful campsite right on the Taylor river. Small campground w/ clean bathrooms and river access.
Short drive to the reservoir for fun and relaxation. Will be back!

Camp host Tracy was super welcoming and accessible and even offered to move us from a site near the road to a site near the river. The campsite was beautiful and provided lots of fun places for my kids to explore. The bathrooms were clean and close to our site. The only disappointment was there was no water available at the campsite, which would have made the stay perfect. I highly recommend Rosy Lane Campground!

Rosy Lane is a small campground with soothing sounds & views of the Taylor River. Great camp hosts that keep the restrooms & sites in top condition. However, the water was TURNED OFF due to a conflict between USFS & state of Colorado. Please try talking/negotiating and solve this for the campers! Very disappointed in administrative personnel who aren’t thinking of the campers.

camp hosts were great .. very nice and helpfull. the site really needs work.. way to many large boulders makes it to difficult to find a spot for tents. really is a bad set up due to all the very large rocks and boulders. also the fire pit is way to tall to have a fire to cook on... the fire ring is over 18 inches tall which makes it very hard to see the fire to enjoy at the evening time . also no water is a real problem. this site really needs work doubt if I will ever come back.. location is fine however the site is terrible .. really .. someone needs to make these changes ..

Spot 4 is the best. Other campers were jealous of my spot. :D
Nice lil path to walk along the river. Cool to watch the river runners go by.
Camp host was very friendly and informative.

We were in site 1. Not the best location, but I was able to reserve it and not worry. Campground is right on the river, so the best location on the Taylor River. Host was very nice and helpful. Campground was quite at night.

The lack of available water at this campsite is a negative feature. As governmental standards for usable water become more strict, more and more campgrounds are shutting down water sources. A better way would be to post warnings at the water source and let the campers use it at their own risk.
The campground hosts at Rosy Lane were terrific! We are lifelong campers and Tracey and her husband were the best or equal to the best of any hosts we have ever had.
