This campground was a pleasant surprise! We came here from Ohio to climb mountains and used this site as our base. Very easy to get on and off the expressway. The campsites were made of concrete and level! The rest of the site was very clean including the restrooms and showers. I especially enjoyed the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic stay for two nights while we visited Idaho Springs and drove the Blue Sky mountain drive. The location is brand new in a full site remodel with level pads and fantastic hookup options. The email reservation system and the texting updates on day of arrival is an excellent system that served us very well. The location is across the creek from the highway so there is some highway noise, as expected, but otherwise the property is fantastic.

We booked this campsite weeks in advance for 3 nights. Based on the reviews we thought it would be a good fit. When we arrived we saw a long line to bathroom. As we approached our campsite we realized our mistake. An instant fear set in and I did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. We have 2 toddlers and it would not be appropriate for them to stay here. There’s no place for them to really run or play safely at the campsite. The campsite is near construction materials. The final straw was finding used toilet paper in the fire pit. We left and didn’t reach out the company as per their policy there”s absolutely no refunds. We booked an Airbnb instead as most campsites in the national and state parks were booked. Book at your own risk. I would not recommend for toddlers under 2. If you are a single white male, this is probably a good fit.

We just stayed here this Memorial Day weekend for our first RV trip of the year and had a great experience. The location cannot be beat, and the park itself was pristinely clean with roomy full hookup sites. The owners/hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The store was very convenient too. We wanted to get out early and forgot we were out of propane, so it was a lifesaver that they sold propane onsite. We had our two dogs with us and really appreciated having two separate dog parks. We also loved the little chipmunk/nut setup, which was such a fun and unique touch. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 5 nights, the nightly rate was $71.35 for the weekend nights and $66.75 for the weekday nights. That includes the taxes and fees.

From the very start of this booking we felt good about this stay. The pricing was extremely good & communication from the park was great. Getting there was so easy with it being right off the highway. It's like 20-30 minutes from almost everything, perfect location. The little town of Idaho Springs is cute to walk around in too.

The sites were smaller, but sufficient. Our only complaint, if you can call it that, was that people didn't fully use the dog pins for their dogs to use the bathroom and then didn't clean up after their dogs at the site. I like to sleep in a tent and there were dog feces in the mulch. This is seriously the only thing we found to complain to ourselves about.

The showers are absolutely amazing & the bathrooms are clean and nice as well. The WiFi is great and strong and we were able to stream things without issue at night when we relaxed before bed. Outside the building they have a little nut bar for the chipmunks and you can see them scurrying around there all day, they are so cute!

The owners live on the property and give you their number to call at any time something is needed. We highly recommended this location and will absolutely stay here again.
