Beautiful area with many trails of varying difficulty. Campground was decent. Spaces are close together, but it seems half of the people didn't keep their reservations, so it wasn't a big deal. Worst thing was the yellow jackets! 😕 it was really hard to enjoy any daylight hours in the campsite.

Pictures don't do any justice. Must be seen in person. Trails were great, the campsites were nice and tidy.

Definitely worth the trip, the canyon is WOW. Campground was a good overnight, just not much scenery there.
Do try the star party, really great look at galaxies, nebula and planets. All in all a great stay.

We loved the natural beauty of the canyon, and also participated in two ranger-led activities, which we very much enjoyed. The campground was spotless and sites well situated - though close together in proximity, the placement and foliage still allowed for a sense of privacy.
