The camp hosts were very helpful and the area was very nice. The campground was not super busy. Had lots of access around it to the river. Had a turkey come through camp too.

North Fork Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained site with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it an excellent base for outdoor adventures. Campsites offer privacy among trees, though some may need leveling for larger tents. Despite minor issues like limited shade and some uneven spots, visitors appreciate the cleanliness and helpfulness of the campground staff.

Great place to make base camp if you are going to the Trappers Lake or Mirror Lake areas for hiking or fishing/hunting. Several great day hikes within a short drive of camp. Campground is well maintained and had the cleanest vault toilets I have ever seen. Camp sites were private and the brush/trees between most of the sites keeps things feeling secluded, unlike many other public campgrounds. If you arrive from the east through Yampa, expect 40 or so miles on a dirt/gravel road that is not the smoothest-a few stretches were washboard. Views are incredible and will take you past Vaughan Lake and Dunckley Pass but FYI on the road past Yampa to the campground, it will rattle some bolts on your car! Western arrivals through Meeker is on paved roads up until the last couple miles, views are not as great but the drive is easier.

Beautiful, quiet camp spot. Well-maintained sites - hosts do an excellent job. Stayed here 3 summers in a row and it’s been perfect every time!

North Fork is a beautiful campground! Our site was clean and surrounded by aspens and shrubs, it was easy to feel like we had a little private spot in the forest. The restrooms were spotless and the water at the hydrant nearest our campsite was great. We did get water from another one that had some yellow color to it but it didn't taste unusual at all. The mosquitos weren't bad and there was a spot about a half mile away with pretty easy access to the river to splash around. I will definitely consider camping here again when I need some peace and quiet.

We love North Fork. It is well-kept, and very clean. The Camp Hosts are friendly. It's easy to find, but with all of the trees, it feels very private. We will continue staying here.

I stayed at site 24 and it was quite nice. Very quiet even outside of quiet hours and the bathrooms were immaculate, not even one cobweb in a corner! Water was provided for putting out fires. The tent spot was a little sloped and probably couldn’t accommodate more than a 3-person tent, but if push came to shove you could set a bigger tent up in the driveway and you’d be alright. Other sites had bigger and flatter tent spots, so you kind of get what you get.
I hiked 8 mi nearby without seeing another soul, so if you’re looking for a secluded area, this is your campground.

Beautiful area. The camp hosts were wonderful. Yhe only negative was the camping spots were not level and there wasn’t much shade. But we had a wonderful time.

It was a great experience other than the weather being a bit cold at night. The campground was well maintained.
