Ended up here as campground full at Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was not far away, higher elevation nice in summer and the falls were beautiful.

We were only here for one night but it was amazing! The views were stunning from site 13 and we got lucky with no wind (however the lightning was definitely spooky). Vault toilets were the cleanest I’ve ever seen!

Had campsite #3 across from pit toilets. Smell was bad at times but an attendant stopped by every day with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

We were amazed by the stunning far views! Almost looks like the savanna in Africa. The falls were pretty too! Always busy, even in the evening. (We went in July). It's definitely a hot spot, not much shade, but the views make up for that. We will come back.
