It was a really easy campsite to get to, the view was awesome, and it was overall an enjoyable stay!

Someone had taken my reserved campsite, there was no camp host on site, and when I called the BLM office I left a voicemail but never got a call back. Ended up paying double- the campsite that was taken by someone else and the campsite I ended up using. Will likely not return here. It’s not clear if there was a reserved sign on my site, but the person who took it definitely did not pay.

Amazing views. Amazing scenery. Honestly probably top three of my favorite campsites ever. The bathrooms were so so clean for being vault bathrooms. We got to watch the sunset and the moonrise at the same time, and the star gazing was the cherry on top!

Beautiful campground. Remote yet close to Great Sand Dunes.
Reservation system was a bit weak. A camper was in our site because it wasn't marked reserved. Fortunately the camper was very laid-back and left without a problem, but the potential was there.

We had a wonderful time and had the best view in spot #12! It was between the roads which was a bit of a downfall but literally a sunset view that was sooooo worth it! It gets a bit windy at night so anchor down. The trail to the falls was fun too, but a bit busy. Overall a wonderful time. Very close to sand dunes if you plan to go enjoy them also. Alamosa is about 40 mins away if you need anything you may have forgot to!

Beautiful sites. Ours was a little far from a toilet but you can look at the map online to reserve closer.

Road was well maintained and not as difficult as you might be lead to believe. Nice, level campspots. Clean facilities. Breathtaking views.
