Great spot for my Van. Close to the Zapata Falls trail. Road leading up to campground was easy to navigate after dark. Campground was clean, well kept and exactly what I needed.

A very well-maintained, well-located campground. The setup was nice, the bathrooms were clean, water was easily accessible, and the view of the valley was spectacular.

Extremely well run and clean campground with a an attentive and diligent camp host onsite. The views of the San Luis Valley from the campground are exceptional and night-time sky viewing is inspiring - marvelous location. Great place to camp, especially for Trailer/RV/Vehicle campers.

If hiking to falls be aware you must go into water to your waist and large boulders that are very slippery.

Great stay. Bathrooms were extra clean and camp host was great. We stayed 2 nights Sunday and Monday and no noise at all. There is plenty of after dinner hiking about 4 miles hidden behind the parking lot for Zapata falls. Look good at campsite map on mapping program to check parking

Had reservations for site 18.
Checked in and went back to site and found it washed out and unusable.
Asked camp host if I could change to an unreserved site. He was real nice but could not make the change it had to be done online or phone. Called and was told since I checked in already they could not do anything, goodbye.
I had to book the other site and pay again.
