Overall, awesome access to the Poudre. The river gives some great white noise to drown out the traffic. It's really pretty there. The campground itself was ok, the lower section is managed by the host at the upper and one of them was a little rude to my kids. There's a lot of traffic of people that drive through the campground looking for a spots. A simple sign that says the campground is full at the entrance would be helpful. Most people are going really fast when they realize there's no spots. Otherwise, really nice, some spots are shady but some are wide open and it was hot.

This was an amazing campground. We go camping quite frequently in multiple different states/terrain. This was the cleanest vault bathroom I've ever seen. The camp hosts have some kind of fresheners in the bathrooms that make it very nice. This campground is also right next to the river. It was great hearing the sound of the rushing water through the night (we went in June when snow run off was melting and water levels pretty high). There are not very many sites at all, which makes for a lovely little spot to have a quiet camping trip. The sound of the river makes it where you can't hear your neighbor campsites at all. Giant white noise machine for sleeping at night. They also had firewood for sale. We will be back!!
