Mountain Park

Great location. Hosts were constantly around. Couldn't hear road noise from our spot. Very pleasant.

We enjoy staying at Mountain Park Campground. The area is well cared after and the hosts are very friendly. Fishing around the campground was great, even with the lower water levels.

Great location. Campground was very clean and the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. The spaces had shade and were spaced far enough apart to provide privacy.

Mountain Park is a lovely, wooded, campground. The river was low but still flowing and there were several places to go down to the water safely to play. Our dog enjoyed fetching a stick! The vault toilets were clean. There are showers and I used one. The plumbing definitely needs replaced. The water took FOREVER to heat up to lukewarm and then ran and ran even though I only put in 50 cents! The know on the shower was impossible for me to turn to shut off. I did mention this to the camp host so hopefully she passed that along to the appropriate person.

The campground was quiet. People generally respected the quiet hours.

We will definitely be camping there again with friends.

Mountain Park is one of our favorite campgrounds. We did notice a few things on this visit were disappointing, in terms of the maintenance of the campground.

Clean, quiet, relaxing… perfect!

I’ve loved this campground over the years but struggle with a contractor where I pay hundreds of dollars for camping only to have to somehow find quarters for the showers. I inflation has hit “nickel and diming” expression.

The couple doing maintenance there was excellent. Restrooms were clean and almost odor free - much better than a lot of places we've been. It was quiet, the showers were clean, it was just a nice place to stay for a couple of days.
