I paid for 3 nights. No showers, bathroom lights did not go on at night and no fire wood. I have been going there for 20 years & this was the worst time. The hosts are terrible also. The old hosts did more & you could find them. They were always around. I stayed at site #3. I’ve stayed at that site many times. I also had to sweep the site. No one cleaned it.

This small campground lies along the Poudre river on Highway 14. It consists of 4 loops: Bear, Commanche, Crown, and McConnel. There are electrical hook-ups, a play ground, picnic area, trash collection and a shower building. Water is avalable but not to connect to.

Site 003 over Memorial Weekend was a very nice site to stay. I was concerned since it is right on the main entrance road, but the way the site is tucked back away from the road made any road noise less noticeable. The shower house was not open to use toilets/showers, which is why I rated this 4 stars and not 5. Water had been turned on for the campground, so unsure why the shower house was closed. The campground was clean and the weather was great considering it had snowed just a day and a half before we got there.

The grounds were well maintained. The hosts were helpful. Loved the flowing river. Stayed there in 32 with electric right after seasonal opening in May. Loved the ground 35 without electricity.

Campground is very nice. Located right along the Poudre River with lots of trees and shade through the campground. Our campsite was tidy and everything was in order when we arrived. The bathrooms (vault toilets) were very clean. The camp hosts were fantastic. Very nice and willing to share information about hiking and other activities in the area.
