What Guests Are Saying

Narrows Campground offers a beautiful setting next to a relaxing river, with well-maintained and clean facilities, including restrooms and bear-proof food lockers. While some sites lack shade, they are spaced well for privacy and have great access to fishing and hiking. However, issues with unclear reservation signage and occasional pest problems have been noted, but overall, visitors look forward to returning for the enjoyable camping experience.

The walk in the areas are very close to one another, some have zero shade and we cooked! (#13) The signage on the sites is very confusing, concerning whether or not it’s available, and often conflicts with what the website says. The reservation signs are not updated timely and I went to 3 different campgrounds looking for a host with no luck.

We stayed at Campsite 9. Sites 8, 9, and 10 are further from the river compared to the other sites, but you can still hear the water! The whole campground and Bathroom was clean and well maintained. The water access was beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

The land here was beautiful, and the sound of the river so relaxing. I also like when they have the bear proof lockers for food. The only downside is walking to and from site to unpack and pack.

Great trout fishing. Some really technical fishing and some easy spots too. I was worried about road noise but it was not a problem at all besides a few semis a day using their air brakes. The site was hard rock but clean. The fire pit and table were all we needed.

#1 spot has some decent shading. Restrooms were clean. Not sure about nature and all the horse flies and mosquitos, I couldn’t put enough stuff on to keep them from biting me. Dogs were annoyed at them to. Awesome to have bear containers for food & trash. As I had an experience with a bear on the Poudre before it was at the Rustic Cabins he got into the back of my truck and opened and ate all my food!!!

The reservation name placard wasn't clear. There was a lot of un-burned trash in the fire pits (we saw our friend's fire pit too). The bear box had an empty pizza box in it along with other trash. The bathroom wasn't clean either. Overall this campground is not being properly maintained. We saw the host for the first time 2 days into our trip and all they were doing was adjusting info on the reservation placards. It only has 7 sites so everything is visible.

Good clean spot. The river had a little sand bar perfect to swim in. However the toilets were very rank.
Other than that we had a great time.
