What Guests Are Saying
Narrows Campground offers a beautiful setting next to a relaxing river, with well-maintained and clean facilities, including restrooms and bear-proof food lockers. While some sites lack shade, they are spaced well for privacy and have great access to fishing and hiking. However, issues with unclear reservation signage and occasional pest problems have been noted, but overall, visitors look forward to returning for the enjoyable camping experience.

I drove in from the west and had a reservation for campsite #8 but was confused because there were only 7 sites in the campground. Asked some campers if there was an eighth site; they did not know. Only when getting back on the highway and driving a bit did I discover there was a Lower Narrows campground. I feel better signage would have been helpful.

The campsite was great, our neighbor were horrible! The father next to us kept coming into our campsite to set up his hammock because he did not like the trees in his site. Then he would hack up a lung like he was spreading the plague to every camper within a mile.
I really wish there was a camp host onsite to address campers like the one we dealt with! It really makes us question coming back.

Awesome campsite! There's an assigned parking spot for each tent site, and your name is posted at your site. Bathrooms were actually super clean and filled with TP. Hand pump worked great for fresh, cold water. Site was super clean and a quick walk down to the river. Only down side is there are really only 2 entrance points to the river here. The campers in the tent site closest to one treated it as their own personally reseverved spot (it's not) and weren't too keen on sharing space. Otherwise, it was an excellent place to camp!

Narrows walk-in CG was nicely spaced, surrounded by the Poudre river on two sides. Wildlife visits were regular in morning and evening. Over all, this was an enjoyable visit.
One drawback was the outhouses. One step in triggered a gag reflex, an immediate reverse, then a sprint out.

Our campsite was clean and our host was friendly and shared ideas for future camping on the Poudre. Thank you
