Beautiful campground especially with the river running right behind it. No cell service in the area.

Most sites have some trees for shade. All sites are close to the river, great access for fishing.

The camp site, facilities, and camp host were wonderful. The weather however was terrible. It rained and snowed so much we were stuck insider our camper. After a couple of nights of cold we were the only campers left at Ansel Watrous. We did not stay all the nights we had reserved due to the weather. This is a very nice campground. We have stayed here several times, but sometimes the weather changes your plans. We will camp her again this year, but we hope the weather is better next time.

My boyfriend and I stayed here when we came to see a concert at the Mish. This campground us worth it even without the concert! We stayed at a site at the end and had a small beach area to swim in. It was directly behind our site, so we enjoyed sounds of the water all night. Oh yes, the camp manager was really nice. He picked uo the tinest bits of trash in our site and offered fire wood for purchase, and was happy to answer questions about the area.
If you walk to the Mish be careful on your walk home. Highly recommend!

Host was awesome. Easy walk to the Mishawaka. Super clean and quiet considering the road is pretty close by.
