Water pumps were both out. Bring your own water. Stay out of the tall grass to avoid ticks. They mowed for us to help though.
Gorgeous area with plenty of space for a large group to set up tents. Vault toilets. Picnic benches and fire ring for gathering with your group.

Absolutely perfect for our group of 30! Plenty of space for multiple camp trailers, tents and RV's.... Excellent access to the trails! Note: apparently there are two campgrounds and we were in the one further south (seemed larger and lots more space for vehicles). .

The website does not disclose that you can be moved campsites midway into your trip. They said it "happens all the time" and theres no way to fix it. I feel like a simple website update would be a fair recommendation, considering we paid $115 per night.
There was so little time to even get in the water when you only have between 2pm and 12 pm to unpack and get to it. We spent hours just packing and moving sites. They moved us so close to dumpsters that biting flies attacked our ankles all night.
I understand paid for camping is going towards lots of restoration, however, this felt like a capital scam of camping with rocky, muddy beaches and poorly maintained roads.

Great place to gather with friends and family. Big enough to invite all your friends and then some. The added benefit was having such a cool camp host. Jeff took care of us; made sure we had enough firewood, cleaned the bathrooms everyday, even had treats for our four-legged campers. Jeff we hope to see you next year!

A amazing group campground with two sites available and lots of little non group sites near by. Both sites have vaulted toilets, bear boxes, large trash dumpsters, and fire rings some of which have picnicking tables near by. My only complaint is that bikers ride trough the camp and try to stop for water which hasn't worked for a few years.
