Lovely campground with lots of shade trees. Access to the creek was plentiful by following the road. We also spent some time on the South Platte River which was only about 40 minutes away.

Great campground. Friendly and attentive host. Spot 15 was beautiful and faced the forest. Spot 15 is large enough to accommodate 2-3 tents Highly recommend.

Host not super friendly. Her dog barks aggressively and frequently. Bathrooms not well maintained.

Site 4- generally good for parking and being on the edge of the campground on the forest side. Near the camp host, who ran her generator all night long (?!). This campground has trails that lead right into the whole Buff Creek network.

Beautiful forest land less than 90 minutes from Denver! Avoids I-70 traffic. No water, pack in your own. Accommodates RVs & trailers, but no pull-through sites. Only about 1/4 occupied in mid-June!

Excellent though some sites were difficult to access due to washouts, particularly 24 and 25. It would also have been nice if the toilet floors were washed.
