Great small campground, camp host was friendly and helpful. Even thought some spots will fit long camping trailers, the spots are more tailored to tent campers. Depending on the size of your trailer I would probably not recommend it since the drive to the campground (about 5 miles from the main road) and the campground itself is pretty tight. Everything is kept well and bathrooms are clean. Great scenery and hiking trails. Overall I would recommend it for a two night tent camping trip.

Clean vault bathrooms, cute creek across the road for splashing, the campground has a nice biking loop for kids. Plenty of shade.

I camped with a group of middle school Girl Scouts, and we had a great time. Fortunately, we were warned when we made our reservation that we'd have to provide our own water. We brought plenty, but trying to balance bringing enough water with having space for other things was our biggest challenge. The long dirt road to the campground had us reconsider our plan to hike at Pine Valley Ranch Park, but we still went, and the park was wonderful. We would definitely consider camping here again.

Our second year here with our group. It was quite nice, good hosts, nice flat campsite spaces, easy access to trails. The only downsides weren't the fault of the site--a neighboring campsite had some huge loud booming bass party ALL NIGHT LONG our first night. (our camp hosts with the help of the Sheriff closed the party down much earlier the next night). And it rained a lot on Saturday. But fun was still had by all--and it makes a better story anyway!

The campsite was located in some very beautiful woods, and was worth the drive! Unfortunately all of the sites were very close together and there wasn’t a lot of privacy. Additionally, many of the sites, including ours, were located on hills with no flat spaces to place tents.

Lovely hosts and very nice campground, as long as you're prepared for no running water. The nearby creek is fun, lots of nice hikes nearby (of varying lengths). Bathrooms were clean, but there were a lot of flies.

There is no water available. The page at Recreation.gov should update that info.

Great access to mt. biking trails. Our campsite (and a number of others) are not flat and don't have a flat tent pad spot. I guess with #vanlife the campgrounds don't cater to tent campers anymore?!

Best time to go is during the weekday when the campground is hardly being used. The camp hosts were very nice, accommodating and promptly answered any questions we had when we arrived.
