Stayed in the cider cabin for a couple nights. The cabin was clean, always remained warm even when their was a foot of snow outside. Check in and checkout were very easy. The hot springs were great and the massage that I added was wonderful as well. Would recommend!

What quaint "out of the way" place to come and soak! Avalanche Ranch was a wonderful experience I was not expecting. I came here as a recommendation by a friend and I have to say it was pleasant soaking in the pools there. I foreworn you that it's not your "typical" hot springs resort. It is family owned and the rustic lodging enriches the property making you feel welcome and safe. It has a more "intimate and special getaway" feel. The views are killer! 😍 You are completely surrounded by mountains and immersed in nature. I thoroughly enjoyed my soaking there. The time passed quickly. You are given a 4 hour window to soak and have to make reservations online including signing a waiver before you arrive. Worth every penny! The gift shop itself is an adventure and filled with beautiful items and knick knacks. I look forward to coming back here again! SO worth the trip. If you ever travel to Aspen this is a perfect stop or want to avoid the Glenwood Springs hot springs tourist hot springs crowd, THIS is the spot!

A really enjoyable hot springs experience. I like that you book a specific four hour time window instead of dealing with crowds and waiting. It makes the visit relaxed and predictable. The atmosphere is pleasant and well thought out, not chaotic or rushed. A good place to actually unwind rather than just check a box.

We loved Avalanche Ranch! From the beautiful views, to the farm animal friends, to the cozy cabin complete with a wood burning stove all ready to be lit, with complementary homemade cookies on the kitchen table, every single detail was perfect! All spaces were kept clean and tidy- the lodging, the public facilities and the pools themselves- which were the best part!! Nothing can compare to soaking in steaming natural mineral water with a Mountain View! The hottest pool was the perfect temperature and it was great to have a variety of pools to move between. The natural pebble floor felt amazing in our feet. Though smaller than many other hot springs in Colorado, the pools were rarely crowded, and sometimes we had them entirely to ourselves, which was magical (we did go on a Monday and Tuesday).
We stayed in the Eagles nest cabin - only a short walk from the pools- which had a comfy bed and extra sleeping opportunities had our party been bigger. It also had a complete kitchen and cozy spaces to hang out. we would recommend buying the local eggs and meat they sell at the gift shop, and bringing other food you might like to cook during your stay.
Avalanche staff were kind, welcoming accommodating.
We are so glad we chose avalanche for our hot springs getaway!

Love Avalanche ranch. We just stayed for a third time and we are excited for our next trip! The area gives you a tranquil oasis to relax in. The cabins are great because many come with kitchens to make a meal or you can go into redstone for some delicious dinners. Chuck one of the owners greeted so many patrons and it was incredible to see how kind he was with everyone. He thanked them for coming to stay which goes a long way. LOVED being able to bring our dog and so many other people did this trip as well. I saw some reviews complaining about the farm animals. This place is LITERALLY called Avalanche ranch. A quick look would tell you what to expect. Growing up on a farm myself it was awesome to be "on the farm" again and be able to go for walks to see the sheep, horses and chickens. Highly recommend visiting here! Thanks Chuck and family!
