A quiet stay. Be sure to bring your own firewood. Fireplace is small, so your wood needs to be cut down roughly a foot or so.

This is a very quiet cabin location and easy to find. Nice little hike behind the cabin and all appliances worked. No complaints. Good for me and the dog.

Beautiful cabin in a very serene setting. We had a lovely time here and the escape from noise and light pollution of the city is reenergizing. Cabin was clean and comfortably sleeps 6 or more. There are 2 sets of bunk beds in one bedroom with a full on the bottom and twin on top. There is another single bunk bed with same configuration in the other bedroom. The bathroom is roomy. Kitchen is fully stocked. There are several hiking trails you can take from cabin - for all skill levels and many more nearby on BLM land.

I've rented Upper Crossing several times and several Rec.Gov cabins but this one is definitely one of my favorites with it's great location it is a gateway to a great area including Saguache Park and the Cochetopa River and it's tributaries. Great hiking and fishing areas and the fishing on the Saguache River and Sheeps Creek by the cabin is not a disappointment!
