We had a wonderful time. This was a social camp out for a group of outdoor clothing and equipment companies and their customers. Loved the long tables for serving. Fire pit was great. The camp host was phenomenal! Everything was clean and raked when we got there. He made sure we had everything we needed. Such a dedicated host. We hope to come back next year. Some of our group fished, hiked and mountain bikes. There’s so much to do in the area.

Great group campsite. The host was excellent. Close distance for a day trip to St. Elmo or O’Haver Lake, among other neat places. Excellent access to the Colorado Trail. The only negative was, I had thought there would be fishing on site, but this was not the case. The pond and stream on site were too marshy to fish in easily. Other than that, it is a wonderful spot.

The location is beautiful and had so much space. The group site is not clearly marked -- many people continued to just arrive and set up camp within our area. I would also say if you plan on bringing equipment for softball or volleyball, just know that the areas aren't cleared of grass/weeds, so be prepared!

This was a great spot for a group especially for tents. We were able to work out the space for some pop up campers but had to be a little creative. Had space for some epic kickball games, kids loved exploring along the creek and wooded areas. Across the street access the Colorado Trail, amazing views of the nearby mountain ranges and Angel of Mt Shavano. We camped over Memorial Day Weekend, tried to get up the road to the North Fork Reservoir but snow blocked the road and the reservoir was still frozen. Fun 4 wheeling adventure to go up the road and amazing to see the site of the old mining town of Shavano.
